The company would eventually be sold by Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation Limited to them in 2003 and was reduced to being a label for 20th Century Fox licensed games published by Vivendi Universal Games. Fox Interactive also released 2 arcade games, Die Hard Arcade and The Simpsons Bowling with Sega and Konami respectively. Their first two games were The Pagemaster, based on the film of the same name, and The Tick, based on the Fox Kids cartoon series of the same name. 20th Century Fox (1994–2003) Vivendi Games (2003–2006) Fox Interactive was a video game publisher and developer mainly concerned with titles based on 20th Century Fox properties.įoxNext was formed in May 2017, headed by former Time Warner Interactive executive Ted Hoff, and was a division of Fox Video, the home media distribution part of 20th Century Fox. The company published games based on 20th Century Fox film and movie properties, as well as some original titles like Croc: Legend of the Gobbos.
